Harley Riders Love Flipographs

Submitted by Flipograph on Tue, 02/17/2009 - 23:41We've started getting lots of orders from student print makers. They're sending the coolest artwork to combine into flips. And afterwards they write and tell us they got an A on their assignment. That just makes our day.
Valentine's Day Special. A 3-flip for the price of a 2-flip.
Submitted by Flipograph on Thu, 02/12/2009 - 09:30Yesterday we got an order from a romantic young lady in Austin, Texas, who wanted to make a Flipograph card for her boyfriend. She had three images she wanted to flip: #1 was she and her boyfriend standing on a rock, in their bathing suits holding hands. #2, they jumped off the rock. #3, they splashed in the water far below.
Oh, did I neglect to tell you there was water down there? Anyway, it turned out great, and I didn't charge them the usual extra charge ($5 for all sizes) for a 3-part flip.
Looking for Artists & Photographers
Submitted by Flipograph on Sat, 02/16/2008 - 00:50We're constantly adding to our Gallery pages with Flipograph ideas that reflect the highest quality standards. Do you know of any artists or photographers who may want to use Flipographs to promote their own images OR, be interested in featuring pairs of their images in our Gallery for purchase?
How to create a public spectacle
Submitted by Flipograph on Sat, 02/16/2008 - 00:48We like to take photos of one or more friends, and then put them together into a Flipograph and present it as a surprise the next time we see them. If that happens in a restaurant or crowded place, other people usually come by to see what the excitement is about, and then they all get into the ooh-ing and ahh-ing, and before you know it, we have a bunch more customers. It's viral.
Why "Flipograph"?
Submitted by Flipograph on Sat, 02/16/2008 - 00:46The first reason we named the company Flipograph is because the prints flip from one image to another when you a) turn them in your hand, b) walk toward them, or c) walk past them. And the second reason is that people flip for them. As I said above, there isn't anyone who sees them who hates them, or is even indifferent to them. Especially if it's a photo of themselves or someone they love that they're looking at.
Where it all started

Ever since we were small, my sister and I have been fascinated with those little changing pictures we used to find as prizes inside Cracker Jacks boxes. One day, a couple of years ago, she said to me, I'd really like to find out how to make those "little flippy things," but not make them cheesy.
